Tall ship : Schooner Hindu
Don’t give up the ship.
Woman fishing off the pier. She was the most stylish fisherwoman that I’ve seen in recent history.
Woman showing my daughter how to fish. She had the patience of a true fisherwoman. She was very kind to my daughter and answered all of her questions.
Daughter looking for rocks.
Daughter wading in water
I love going to the beach with my kids.
Butterflies & flowers
Funny signs with jazz hands. 🙂
More flowers . . .

I like pink much more than when I was a teenager. My closet contained black and red and more black. And then I had daughters and learned to love pink again. 🙂
Pink flotation device
Pink bicycle. I had a pink panther bicycle. It didn’t seem as cool as this one.
I know why the caged bird sings. But why does the rooster crow all day? Is there anything to keep the rooster from crowing? I would like to enjoy my back yard. I would love to garden without hearing my neighbor’s rooster. It seems to crow whenever I open the door or move. It is an excessive amount of noise, which is saying something because I have noisy children. Three loud, energetic children.
My youngest daughter, who we refer to as the rooster, woke up the real rooster by playing her toy flute. It may have been the best $5 that anyone ever spent. It still makes me laugh to think of my little rooster waking up the rooster. Is it wrong to laugh? Maybe.
In the scheme of things, I realize that I am lucky to live somewhere where the biggest complaint is the rooster. Apparently, roosters can crow all day. I also think that my neighbor might have two roosters. Or a hen that echoes the rooster. I’m hoping that his barn is not going to be a safe haven for orphaned roosters. If that happens, we might be moving to a rooster-free zone. 🙂
Oskar Blues Brewery
Resident beer drinker, Lucas, loves Deviant Dale’s India Pale Ale. He asked if he could give it a score of 11 out of 10. Lucas said that Deviant Dale’s tastes similar to Harpoon but with an even more fresh taste. He also likes that it comes in 16 oz cans. He said that most good beer comes in a bottle. However, Deviant Dale’s is just as good as any beer although it is in a can. I’m not sure how it escapes tasting like a tin can, but it does.
They have several other selections worth trying. My personal favorite is Ten Fidy. If you visit the brewery in Longmont, Colorado, I recommend getting a variety of samples at the Tasty Weasel Taproom.
It seems like a cool place to work. I couldn’t even count the number of bicycles hanging up everywhere. There was a game area for the workers. Plus, it is very clean, which the germophobe in me appreciates immensely.
The challenge for today is sun flare. I chose a picture of Lucas hiking on a trail. We were at Osborne Park in Sandusky, Ohio. It’s part of Erie County Metroparks. http://eriemetroparks.org/ They have some nice activities. Hopefully, I won’t get so lost trying to find the park next time. 🙂
Thanks for following the challenge! I will have to find another challenge to distract me from housework. 🙂
