NaBloPoMo: What is your favorite thing about autumn?

There are so many great things about autumn that it was difficult to choose one. I think that all of my thoughts came back to food. Just about everyone is baking in the fall and I could not be happier.
Items like pumpkin pie, apple cider, and caramel apples are what I look forward to when summer is ending. The aroma in the air during the fall is full of cinnamon and nutmeg. Pumpkin rolls are so good that it’s a sin.
I love to take my kids trick or treating at the train museum. They get candy, while I get hot cider and donuts. It seems like a win-win situation to me.

  2. My favorite thing is stepping on the leaves. I purposefully walk crooked down the road just to step on all of them! I live in the woods too, so my autumn pretty much rocks!

    1. I did like jumping in the leaves when I was a kid. 🙂 I know my kids still do. I think it’s the sound of the leaves when you step on them or jump in a pile. 🙂
