Howl at the Moon: Daily Post

“Follow your inner moonlight; don’t hide the madness.” — Allen Ginsberg
Do you follow Ginsberg’s advice — in your writing and/or in your everyday life?

Yeah, I howl at the moon on a regular basis. I tend to do it more with writing and blogging than in everyday life. It disturbs the neighbors when the kids and I howl at the moon too much. I don’t always feel bad about that. There are roosters and yappy dogs that are noisy at all times of the day and night in my neighborhood.
However, when I write an unexpected blog post, it is usually well-received. So I try not to plan all of my blog posts as far as the topic. The thing that I plan is the number of posts. The minimum that I do is four during the week. I do less on the weekend.
On weekends, I’m researching future post topics and doing more photography. There’s more time to howl at the moon on the weekends.

Enjoy this video! Have a happy howling weekend!

I could be the worst cook in America. My boyfriend tells his friends about my cooking disasters. I'm glad someone is amused. I like movies, music, comic books and corny jokes.

      1. Right? Maybe I should do that…I can’t think of anything to write today!

        I know, :-O LOL

      2. I always start out not knowing. Then sometimes I look at a list of blog prompts or just write about whatever. 🙂 I love Ozzy. he’s the prince of darkness. Did you watch the osbourne’s? That show where sharon wanted bubbles and he was like “I’m the prince of darkness. I can’t have bubbles.” priceless. lol

      3. Yes! And the funny thing was when he mumbled. My son uses closed captioning for some shows and that one would just say *unintelligble mumbling* whenever he went on a rant 🙂

      4. It really may be just at higher noise levels he knows to enunciate better. I am also pretty sure his, and so many others of that time, have hearing issues which definitely add to the mumbles.

      5. Oh yes. hearing issues. I have those sometimes. Too close to speakers & many loud concerts. Seriously, George Clinton & Parliament ruined my hearing. TOTALLY WORTH IT! I think I even said this louder in my head. lol 🙂

      6. Wow, nice! GC and Parliament, I mean, not the hearing problems.

Did you know that he gets almost no money for any of the songs he is pretty much famous for? All those songs, sampled all over the place, and he gets nothing because of a copyright/royalty dispute from a shady manager. Crazy, right?
