Let’s take a peek at the top five books on my Goodreads list. I would like to read the top five by the end of 2015. I spent most of 2014 reading the “Game of Thrones” series so it’s time to read books not written by George RR Martin.

The next book I intend to buy is definitely “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Khaled Hosseini. After watching “The Kite Runner” I had to get the book. I even went and bought his other book “And the Mountains Echoed”. Looking very forward to reading them 🙂

Oooh this all look good! I downloaded War Brides last week but havent started it. I listened to A Thousand Splendid Suns on CD. I’m going to have to check out the others!
a thousand splendid suns is one of the best adult fiction books i’ve read by a person of color 🙂 I dont want to define khaled hosseini by his ethnicity because I feel like that puts a label on him and I wouldn’t do that for any author of color really, so I’ll just say he is a great english novelist 🙂

I’ve read ‘the kite runner’ and ‘a thousand splendid suns’ and ‘and the mountains echoed’ too. I am obsessed with his books. Once you read one of them, it’s impossible to stop.
