Poetry Maybe #20

poetry maybe

give me a chance don’t overlook
or compare the direction

that i went
do you recollect the random
wide-eyed memories
did you want to participate

in the creation of a life together?

when you left

i destroyed two dragons
one was a copy of the second

redundancy upon redundancy

the second was a copy,

was a waste of time.

just random thing to do.

not for love or to go
to the next level with his by-the-way match

do you remember

the jazz club movement?

you looked like you saw

a heart-stealing monster
maybe you regretted the dance lesson

because you could see

that you might have to give up your boundary for passion
I lost sight of whether you should be waving goodbye

or hello. Would you haunt the jazz club?
the attraction wasn’t in flames yet

Did that dance lesson get resolved?
We need a third eye
to see where to fix

a twin flame from one dragon

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
