The Boy with the Boot

003

One of my residents used to tell me about the “Boy with the Boot” statue every day. I’ve been meaning to take a picture of it for 3 years. So I finally took some time to take pictures. I think I’ll go back during the daytime.
The original statue is on display at city hall in Sandusky, Ohio. It had been damaged by tornado in 1924 and more recently by vandals. The fountains and the statue are lit up at night. There used to be a statue of a mermaid but it’s missing.

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
