Explain why you chose your blog’s title and what it means to
you.
Marisa Tomei’s character in “Only You” states that destiny is “From the Latin root destinare…
meaning, to have destination…to journey…”
Then she mentions something that Plato says.
So we search for our destiny . . . our other half . . . for something to complete ourselves again. I chose the name “Destino” because it represents a search for my own destiny. I’m not looking for my other half. I found him already.
When I began the blog, it started out as a place to record my bucket list goals and accomplishments. Since then, the blog had become more about the big picture. What do I really want for my life beyond going to a ton of concerts? Am I going to be satisfied with my life when I’m old and the highlight of my day is playing bingo?
I am doing my best to live a life with no regrets, which is the main goal at this point.
I love this and really appreciate the name of your blog now that I know why you chose it. I chose mine because I wanted to make people hear and see things in a new way from a different point of view. I hope I chose wisely 😉 they say we become our name over time. I guess we’ll have to wait and see
