If I could choose a any skill, I would learn how to sew again. At one time, I knew the basics of using a sewing machine. Unfortunately, I gave up too easily. This might be the year that I try again. I’m tired of sewing patches on my backpack by hand. I did manage to find a thimble, which will come in handy when I finally learn to quilt. I saw a tutorial for quilting from a blogger friend and now I can’t remember who or where it was. So if you know, let me know. Then we’ll all know. Thanks! 🙂
Sewing would be so useful at Halloween time or to hem the bottom of my pants. I’m short and all of my pants are too long.
I would love to learn to sew too! The closest I can do to it is crochet/ knit but my mom can sew and grandmother could too really well. But that skill didn’t get passed down yet!
My mom can do all of those crafty things. It might have skipped a generation. lol 🙂
I’m hanging on by a thread here, hoping that your sewing quest ends up with a happy ending, Holley. Me? I can’t even thread a needle. The eye’s so small and the thread’s so flexible …
I can sew a little by hand. Threading needles is hard work! 🙂
