When you do something scary or stressful — bungee jumping, public speaking, etc. — do you prefer to be surrounded by friends or by strangers? Why?
I would choose friends. Friends are more likely to overlook any panic attacks or crying episodes that someone might have while making a speech or riding a roller coaster. They will probably still be friends afterwards.
Strangers might run away quickly. Strangers can’t overlook the ranting and raving on the ski lift in the same way. They don’t understand that you’re really a nice person – in spite of the cursing at the ski lift operator. Your friends know that the lunacy will subside after the ride is over and things will be back to normal. Well,it will return to a normal craziness that they know and love.
You and your friends know why no one invites you to amusement parks anymore. Everyone is okay with it. It’s one less panic attack for you and no embarrassing events for them. It’s a win-win situation or so I’ve heard.

Always better with friends 🙂
You know when someone is your friend, when they stick by your side and laugh at your situation.
That’s the sign of a true friend. 🙂
