It’s an honor to be standing here before all of you tonight. There are so many people that have helped me get to this point . . . my grandparents, my kindergarten teacher Ms. Weinhold, and my blogging friends. My kids and my boyfriend have also been supportive of all of the crazy blog activities that occur around the house.
I can’t believe that just a short time ago I wasn’t even sure what a blog was. Look at me now Ma!
I would like to dedicate this Most Improved Blogger Award to my mom. Without her, I wouldn’t know how to tie my shoes or love movies or reading. If she wasn’t my mom, I wouldn’t even know about classic rock, Motown or Gene Kelly. “Singin in the Rain” was required at my house. She is an excellent storyteller and writer. I hope to be as good as she is someday.

P.S. There’s not really an award. My mom still deserves one though. 🙂

Aww, that’s SO sweet! I love this! You mom sounds like a lot of fun. “Singing in the Rain” a requirement to sing? Yeah, I could get on board with that, haha.
She is fun! 🙂 i didn’t think so when i was young. But teenagers are difficult.
