Back to School: NaBloPoMo

011

Back to school is right around the corner. Are you ready for another school year?

No, I’m sure not ready. The school supplies have been purchased. At the moment, I’m questioning whether they have enough back to school clothes. Within the next few days, I will be going through closets. EEEKkk!!! Going through clothes seems like a daunting project. I will try to take it one drawer at a time, otherwise it can be overwhelming.

Trying to juggle everyone’s schedule can be overwhelming too. It will be fine. Everything will be fine. I’m just trying to talk myself into positive thoughts.

Yay back to school! 🙂

  1. I miss elementary school days, when all of the stores posted the supply list – now I don’t get the list until he actually goes to school and then I have to go shopping with all of the other parents of little ones that didn’t have their act together and get it done before hand because now all of us high school parents are scrambling!

    ACK!

I just can’t even right now!

      1. I do have the clothes taken care of – and just stating that does level out the rising anxiety!

I also had Mr. T get on line and check out his teachers web sites to see if they had posted a supply list… sadly, none of them had…

        Oh well. 🙂

  2. Ready or not they are going 🙂 The summer gets so drawn out for my son that he cannot find things to do.

  3. My kids went back on Monday and we are totally in the swing of things. I am a little tired but better to have them at school than have them at home bored!

  4. Going through clothes seems like a never ending task, wish I could stop them from growing so fast. My kids have been back for 3 weeks now.

  5. Positive thoughts will get you through! This time next month and all of this will be “old hat”. lol

  6. I don’t miss the school shopping at all. it will all be worth it after they come home and tell you about the great first day.

  7. My kids started last week so I have no choice but to be ready or be in denial. Once they’re back it’s back to the same routine like they weren’t even out.

  8. I break down tasks into smaller parts too if they seem overwhelming. I’ve got a bad paper habit and I’m working on clearing that out (I throw all papers in a drawer and then never go back in the drawer, lol).

  9. My daughter used to love Hello Kitty when she was younger. She would have loved this backpack for back to school then.
