What was your favorite grade in school and why?
Does college count? I liked being a senior in college. I felt very excited about graduating. At the same time, I was terrified of graduating. What if I failed at life? There were a lot of what if’s.
The pictures make it look like I never cracked open a book. I swear that I did. I was an English major. There were tons of books. I spent a lot of time reading.
I really did miss having someone to cook for me and do my dishes. I missed having friends next door or down the hall or within a five minute walk. After graduation, it was not so easy to make new friends.
If I could change things, I would get a different job after graduation. I worked at a men’s clothing store and it almost sucked the life out of me. What was I thinking? Lesson learned. No men’s clothing store for me ever, ever again. Remember to focus on long-term goals. 🙂 Of course, that’s easy to know but wishing doesn’t pay the rent. Also pay the rent! It’s hard to live out of a cardboard box or mom’s basement.
