Yes, technically the Zac Brown Band is not a rock and roll band. They are known for playing country music. However, they could be a rock and roll band, if they wanted to be. They can rock. Zac Brown definitely has the voice for rock music
Lucas thinks I should check and see if they are becoming more rock than country. According to Wikipedia, their genre is country rock. I didn’t know it was an official genre.(It says so on the Internet so it must be true.) I’m also not sure if it’s different than Southern rock.
They do have a new album, “Jekyll + Hyde,” that came out on April 28. The tracks that I’ve heard so far have a lot of rock influences, as well as country. Chris Cornell of Soundgarden makes an appearance on the “Heavy is the Head” track.
