In the Presence of Wolves of Philadelphia released Of Two Minds, Stages 1-2: The Ape and The Cage at the end of June 2017.
The piano on the intro “As We Speak, Pt. 1” is really beautiful. It’s a concept album so it’s not your typical hard rock/heavy metal stuff. Some parts are a little less melodic but I think it works. They describe themselves as progressive/ experimental/alternative. Mr. Cats and Guitars says that he also likes it and it’s “very technical.”
I like the lead singer’s voice. I don’t know what he looks like but I picture Jordan Catellano for some reason. It doesn’t matter what he looks like but I was daydreaming while listening to this album. It’s a good album for daydreaming.
They combine the jazz and rock so that no one will be hating on the jazz. Jazz is not everyone’s favorite but we wouldn’t have a lot of music if it weren’t for jazz.
I haven’t found anything that I don’t like about this album. It’s groovy and it rocks at the same time. This album was really enjoyable to listen to and I would do it again.
The band lineup includes:
Vini Stamato – Bass/Vocals
Chris Capitanio – Lead Guitar/Vocals
Mason Ingling – Drums/Vocals
Jim Ellis – Rhythm Guitar
