Where have you been staying in 2021?

I’ve been in my home in Manchester, UK 🙂

What have you been doing during times of quarantine?

I’ve been living, first and foremost, trying to stay sane. On top of this I’ve been working from home and trying to stay creative. I’ve written and recorded some songs during the pandemic so keep your eyes peeled for new music soon 🙂

Have you found or re-found any hobbies?

I’ve enjoyed journaling my thoughts, walking mindfully, and writing short stories. Other than these, and music of course, my hobbies haven’t really changed 🙂

What have you been listening to lately?

Passenger’s new album, Madeleine Peyroux’s and Stevie Wonder’s back catalogue

Has your songwriting process changed this year?

I wouldn’t say so, no. I guess the pandemic has given me a few new themes to explore in mu music, and I’ve tried to take advantage of the quiet time toexplore new music and guitar techniques for my writing. Other than that, my process hasn’t changed much.

Is there any message that you would like to convey to fans or soon-to-be fans?

Yes…thank you for giving me a moment of your time, thank you for taking a chanceon new artists like me, and thank you for supporting musicians in these trying times. I’ve got some new music out at the moment, and more music on the way, so if you’d like to keep up with what I’m up to, please check out my socials, I’m @DrFabola everywhere, and my website, adefabola.com 🙂

What is something positive that has happened to you during 2021?

I got contracted to play a surprise 60th birthday party that a (new) client organised for his wife. It was pretty cool, and so nice to be out playing in the world again 🙂

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
