Baltimore residents Britt Olsen-Ecker and Melissa Wimbish met through the theater scene and formed the band Outcalls. Their music is hard to describe. It’s definitely awesome but as far as a category . . . maybe indie pop. They are doing their own thing and we should all be here for it.
There are many interesting and quirky people from Baltimore – Frederick Douglass, Edgar Allan Poe, Wallis Simpson (The Duchess of Windsor), David Hasselhoff. Outcalls can definitely be added to the interesting and quirky of Baltimore list.
