Strange Beef

We heard you had a Strange Beef
When you were with
a friend’s Partner in the Streets
The story is part truth, part myth

She had a bewitching Face
rivals wants to compete to be the mate of this Fool
they refuse to be replaced
Playing by scandalous salon Rules

We could almost Taste the Drama
we heard from our Second-hand Mama
The supersonic dryer made it hot as Hell
Still better than sitting in a Tiny Cell

Friends call out Hey bae
The scene full of Disaster & hair
Superficial Day after day
The friend says curse and half prayer

Messy hair coupled with Anger
Rushed Along
With fearless strangers
Until lady sang her song

Now Booked as Thugs
The bewitcher told you to kick rocks
No more two-timing hugs
Put the prayers in a Prison mailbox

Revised

We heard there was Strange Beef
When lady grey was with
a friend’s Partner in the Streets
The story is part truth, part myth

She had a bewitching Face
 Confusing this Fool
Their mate refused to be replaced
Playing by scandalous salon Rules

We could almost Taste the Drama
 heard from our Second-hand Mama
The supersonic dryer made it hot as Hell
Still better than sitting in a Tiny Cell

Friends called out Hey bae
The scene full of disaster & hair
Superficial nails day after day
The friend says a curse and half a prayer

Messy hair coupled with Anger
Rushed Along
With fearless strangers
Until lady grey sang her song

Now Booked as Thugs
The bewitched told them both to kick rocks
No more two-timing hugs
Put two prayers in a Prison mailbox

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.

  1. I like “The scene full of Disaster & hair.” I’m a sucker for the contrast of combining a concept and an actual concrete item.
