The music group Honeybee was formed in 2019 by Southern California residents Revel Ian (drums, age 11), Liam Williams (guitar/vocals, age 16), and Theo O’Gara (bass/vocals, age 15). Honeybee is ready to rock stages around the world. They might be young but they are all multi-instrumentalists who are immensely talented. The band will be releasing their self-titled debut album on May 27.
The band sound like veteran rock musicians already. Honestly, the drummer is amazing. Drummers are some of my favorite band members – Animal, Dave Grohl, Sheila E., etc. It is too bad that they get hidden in the back sometimes. Maybe, they have to be noisy and over the top.
They remind me of Queens of the Stone Age. Honeybee might even be a little better. It’s not for me to say. Listen to their music and decide for yourselves.
My personal favorite songs on the album are “Miss Misfortunate” and “Get Out of My Head.”
Will actual honeybees love Honeybee? I want to listen to this album in the garden and play it for the honeybees.

OMG, they’re so young! They’re a bit raw when playing live, but I listened to some of their songs on Spotify, and they’re pretty good.
