Hollow River: Flawless Friday Video

Hollow River, aka Mark MacDonald, has a lovely, quirky, bookish video for his single, “Loved Me Like a Book.” We appreciate the playfulness of the video and also the references to books so we’re naming it the Flawless Friday Video this week.

MacDonald says, “(“Loved Me Like A Book”) is about how people become a mosaic of the things they have experienced and the people they have loved and how it hurts to see yourself becoming a smaller part of someone you love and vice versa. The video was recorded DIY at my studio in my parents garage in Canada.”

The Canadian American pop-punk rapper dropped out of Berklee College of Music; however, he will return to Berklee as the musical director of the Berklee Music of Mass Incarceration concert on October 12th. We think that this music thing might just turn out alright for him.

Hollow River will celebrate the release of the single at Fredericksburg, VA’s KC’s Music Alley at Central Station on September 22. More info: https://fb.me/e/92Ak3jEiL.  The track will appear on the upcoming ‘We’re Going To Be OK’ EP coming in October.
