The Caughtery, formed in 2020 by Lisa Tingle and David Gayler, proudly present their rendition of Led Zeppelin’s ‘The Rain Song.’
There are some musical gatekeepers out there that might be cringing at the thought of anyone covering Led Zeppelin. However, the fussy gatekeepers are not always right.
“Lisa and I wanted to do our thing on this and keep it organic and respect the original intent and feel. We hope we accomplished that. Personally, Lisa recalls loving this particular song when she was a little girl, dreaming of someday singing and recording it,” says David Gayler.
The Caughtery do a praiseworthy interpretation of the song. Lisa has a spectacular voice. David plus the guest musicians, Brannen Temple, Scottie Miller, Ricky Phillips and Tim Palmer, are quite magnificent in their own rights.
The band also has an EP that is available everywhere digitally, including Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon.
