When or where do you feel most like yourself?
It may sound strange but I feel like myself when I’m dressed like someone else or playing dress up. Maybe that’s why I liked being in plays. Halloween is also my favorite holiday.
Shopping for clothes is fun sometimes because I can try on things that I wouldn’t normally wear. Shoe shopping is fun because . . . well, because it’s shoes.
When I was little, I had the most fun drawing outfits to wear. If I could do anything over, I would practice my sewing skills. It would be awesome to make costumes for myself and the kids.
“Country Mouse and the City Mouse” – I was the country mouse in pink. 🙂 We were wearing overalls before it was cool, which wasn’t until the mid-90’s.
“Father Knows Best” – I wore my grandma’s shoes. It was lots of fun.
I was Carmen Miranda. My friend was Cleopatra. It was difficult to keep fruit on my head.
