In keeping with my new obsession with The Band and also today’s A to Z Challenge, this post is about Robbie Robertson. Do I get a bonus point for the double R’s? 😉
I remember seeing Robbie Robertson on television in the 80s. I knew he was a musician and he was really handsome. What else do teenage girls notice?
So this is what I’ve learned about Robbie Robertson this week. He was in The Band. He toured with Bob Dylan. Robertson was listed as #59 in Rolling Stone’s list of the top 100 greatest guitarists. He is also a gifted songwriter.

In 2013, Robertson published a book called “Legends, Icons and Rebels.” It contains stories about musical legends, photographs and a CD set. I haven’t read it but it sounds like something worth reading or listening to.

Sorry for sounding like a groupie but he’s still pretty handsome for a man in his 70s.
