Lowered Expectations? Not this Chick!: Daily Post

So one way to achieve more goals is to lower your expectations and make your goals easier.
I don’t see the point of lowering your expectations, except maybe with dieting. Of course, I say this because I have no will power and have to take this losing weight thing one day at a time.
I have goals for everything. There are bucket list goals, renovating the house goals, gardening goals, blog goals, writing goals. I’d like to meet that soccer player, Georgios Samaras, and ask him about goals.

It’s as if he’s saying, “I know all about goals. Watch this!”

I did have one goal accomplished today. I submitted an article for Yahoo Voices. They published it. So score one for me. Here’s the link if you want to see it. I’ve looked at it about 50 times.

I’m glad that I didn’t lower my expectations. Now if only I could be as determined to lose weight as I am to write. I guess I can’t have it all, right? It would seem greedy. πŸ™‚

  1. Congratulations! πŸ™‚ I, too, don’t believe in lowering expectations…well, except when it comes to raising Baby Boy. I tend to think he should be doing something that’s actually not even age-appropriate for another year or so lol πŸ™‚
