Which former decade do you wish you could time travel and visit? Why?

I’ve said it before but I really would like to visit the 1920s. There are three reasons: 1. To visit a speakeasy 2. To wear the clothes that were in fashion 3. To visit the House of Chanel.

It would be so much fun to visit a speakeasy. Maybe a trip to the speakeasy would be a little bit dangerous too.
The clothes and the hats were so beautiful in the 20s. I wish that I could get away with wearing a cloche hat now. The only hat that I have is a big, floppy beach hat.
In most of the pictures that I’ve seen of the 1920s, the women look so stylish. When my kids look at photos from the 80s and 90s, they laugh because we look ridiculous. The only exception is Madonna. She is the only one who could look stylish in the 80s. Everyone wanted to look like her but it didn’t work out so well for most of us.
Fashion today isn’t as good as the 1920s either. Sometimes less skin can be okay too but unfortunately not everyone thinks the same way. So now we have short shorts with the pockets peaking out of the bottom. It’s just my opinion but it doesn’t seem like a good look.

I think I could wear this to . . . wherever I want to go. Maybe I could wear my floppy hat too. 🙂
