The Suicide Squad movie will be out in 2016. My suggestion for the sequel . . . you know they will have a sequel, unless it’s a total flop. Lord, please don’t let it be a flop.

My suggestion is to have Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn be in the sequel. I feel like we need more female supervillains working together for the greater . . . well, it’s complicated.

In the “Suicide Squad” comics, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn are antiheroes. They’re not good, not exactly evil but still fascinating.

Whether they are supervillains or antiheroes, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn are thoroughly entertaining – together or separately. It’s a shame that Poison Ivy got stuck in a lousy Batman movie. She was the only decent character in the movie. Poison Ivy was enough of a villain in her own right. I don’t think she needed help from Mr. Freeze.

Maybe Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn could appear in another Batman movie. They could appear in their own movie too. My kids would watch all of them over and over again.

I watched the movie with Little Sister #2 recently. She was a little confused about the difference between the actress and the character. Her question was “You mean she’s not really Poison Ivy?” After that minor setback, I asked her who was her favorite, Harley Quinn or Poison Ivy. The answer was a resounding Poison Ivy. I think Little Sister wants to be a supervillain because she loves Poison Ivy so much. She won’t need help from Mr. Freeze either.

I could be the worst cook in America. My boyfriend tells his friends about my cooking disasters. I'm glad someone is amused. I like movies, music, comic books and corny jokes.

  1. Out of all of the superhero films coming out in the next several years, Suicide Squad is the one I’m most looking forward to. One of my favorite episodes of Batman: The Animated series was the one where Harley, Poison Ivy, and… Batgirl? have a girls’ night out, very fun!
