Blog NaBloPoMo

Uphill Battle

What aspect of blogging has been the biggest uphill learning curve for you?

The hardest thing to deal with is losing followers. Whenever I lose a follower, my heart hurts. I’m not sure why they are leaving. If they return, then they were really mine all along weren’t they? If they don’t come back, then they weren’t meant for me. Or this blog wasn’t meant for them.
I realize that I’m not a typical mom blogger. I don’t really think of myself as a mom blogger. I’m a mom who blogs about cool and/or geeky stuff. It’s fine. I just have to keep working on finding my audience and keeping them entertained and informed.

  1. Absolutely keep at it! You may want to read my post from today based on what I have taken away from attending the WordPress Press and Publish event this past Saturday. We can be moms and our own women as bloggers. No one else has *your* voice πŸ˜€

      1. Holley, I was so inspired and energized so I want to share it with others! Good stuff and thanks for connecting πŸ˜€

  2. Love that shirt!

As someone who accidentally unfollows people frequently, it’s very easy for that to happen when reading on mobile. Sometimes I don’t realize until I haven’t seen anything from a certain blogger in days.
