meditation

Day 4 of the Iyanla Vanzant book, “One Day My Soul Just Opened Up,” is meditation.

20 years ago, I was not ready for meditating. All of that quiet and stillness was intimidating. You’re forced to truly listen to yourself. To see yourself without distractions is challenging.

It’s hard to be still. It’s not impossible. Also, meditation isn’t as difficult as defeating the jabberwocky.

Meditation helps people to get reconnected to that voice – the one that leads them down the path that they should take.

Meditation does not have to be fancy either. Fancy is distracting.

About holley4734

I could be the worst cook in America. My boyfriend tells his friends about my cooking disasters. I'm glad someone is amused. I like movies, music, comic books and corny jokes. View all posts by holley4734
