#WeekendCoffeeShare: Will work for concert tickets

image

If we were having coffee, I would tell you . . .
– I love the Almond Joy coffee creamer.
– Finding the balance between work, home and blogging has been a challenge. I did mostly photo posts this week.
– that I’m still working 3rd shift.
-I haven’t given anyone the finger or told them to take the job and shove it. Almost.
– But I like having money to buy the aforementioned coffee creamer.
– I also work so I can buy concert tickets and band merch. Black Sabbath is a strong contender. So is George Clinton. I lost most of my hearing at a Parliament show from standing too close to the speakers. I will have ear plugs for the next show.
– Lucas doesn’t think I need more sweatshirts. I disagree. I need more things to wear to work since I don’t have to wear scrubs.
– Right now, I’m waiting on a phone call from a band. And waiting . . .

  1. ” But I like having money to buy the aforementioned coffee creamer.” – This reminds me of a card I once saw. On the outside it said, “Why I work. A short essay.” On the inside it said, “I like to eat. The end.”

Black Sabbath and Funkadelic? Sorry, Parliament. Besides having their biggest fame at around the same time, do these two bands have anything in common? Of course I’m one to talk since my tastes are extremely eclectic…

    1. No. They do not have much in common. Maybe being loud? 😉
Funny card. Lol. I totally get that.

      1. I did see BS in concert in, I think ’81. They were with Blue Oyster Cult. I wanted to see BOC, but we had to leave early and only saw half of their show. But yes, BS was loud! I would have rather seen one of George Clinton’s bands….

  2. Loud music gaves me a headache. Enjoy your concerts.

  3. Man, I haven’t been to a concert in years…let alone a metal concert…but yes, do wear earplugs. I have permanent damage in my left ear from local gigs in High School so my not-40-year-old-self sounds like a 80 year old every time I say, “What? I can’t hear you!” Yeah…I’m old, but I’m not *that old! 😉
Also, that Almond Joy creamer sounds divine 🙂

    1. I’m thinking about getting pink ear plugs.
The creamer is really excellent! 🙂

      1. Ha! Pink would be fun 🙂

  4. Thanks for the coffee and I hope you get to put your feet up a bit this week. xx Rowena

    1. Thanks! So far, no luck with relaxing. . . . Or sleeping. Mostly dreams about forgetting to pick up kids and car parts in my bedroom. Lol

      1. I relate. I got a photo call yesterday from my daughter’s friend’s Mum. Turns out that the online timetable wasn’t right and they were 30 mins early. Thank goodness for community.

      2. Yes. Thank goodness! 🙂
