Interview with . . . Red Rose Panic

Red Rose Panic brings more to the stage than noise and funk. I mean, they bring the noise and the funk but their music has a bit of jazz and hip-hop too.

They are from Akron, Ohio, which isn’t too far for me to go see their live show. Red Rose Panic was in the Battle of the Bands for the AfroPunk Festival this year. They didn’t win. It’s an honor to be nominated, right?!

So please welcome Red Rose Panic to the blog!

At a loft in Cleveland OH for a friends Fashion Show.

Did you know that Cleveland used to have a subway?

Well i know it has a train station.. a subway wouldn’t be to far fetched to imagine.

Depends on what he’d want to do.

Who would you pick as the best rapper – past or present?

Jay-Z

Do you ever stand outside the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and dream about being inducted?

We just performed there a couple weeks ago and then took a tour. I would say yes I’ve technically done this.

Does anyone have any bucketlist goals?

Touring the world, performing in Tokyo Japan.

Do any of you remember a time before cell phones?

All of my elementary and bits of high school predated smartphones.

Who knows how to dial a rotary dial phone?

I’m pretty sure we all do.

Whoever has the best corned beef sandwich wins.

How would you rate your survival skills? If a zombie apocalypse happens tomorrow, who will make it?

We would all make it, we’ve played enough video games to prepare.

What would you like people to know about Red Rose Panic?

We achieved what we’ve done with families, 9-5s, and all of life’s trials and tribulations attached. We want you to feel that passion and intense drive through our live performances.

I could be the worst cook in America. My boyfriend tells his friends about my cooking disasters. I'm glad someone is amused. I like movies, music, comic books and corny jokes.
