In my opinion, Fairview’s secret is that there is a third member who just does hair. Someone is behind the scenes keeping their hair on point – literally sometimes.
The other secret might be that they are just the sweetest acoustic pop duo around.
I’ve been listening to their album, Our Little Secret. You almost can’t go wrong with two singers and an acoustic guitar. If Matt and Lizzy of Fairview aren’t really in love, then they are the best con artists I’ve ever heard.
I’m envious that they can express their love for each other through song. No one wants to buy an album of my boyfriend and I singing to each other. We could do a comedy album. We do have the jokes.
Anyway, if you are looking for an acoustic pop duo, then I suggest Fairview. My secret is that I wonder if they’ll ever do an album of songs about times when they aren’t so in love – like when she’s tired of him using all of the hairspray or if he’s tired of her leaving water bottles everywhere.
It’s just a thought. But they seem to know what they are doing. It’s not a secret.
