I bought the book, Sense and Sensibility. I probably read about 1/4 of it before I switched to the audiobook. Thank goodness for Librivox. It’s my new favorite thing to listen to books and work on the garden. The poor bunny has been subjected to Jane Austen for several days.
Several different versions of the movie are also on Amazon Prime. I’ve been watching the BBC series. It’s been difficult to finish when other people are home. Some people make jokes about tea and crumpets. Has anyone had a crumpet? Are they different from English muffins or the same?

I do like tea. I drink tea while reading Jane Austen. Is that too bouji? It is what it is I guess.
The book was good, so good. It’s my second favorite Jane Austen novel so far. I think that the bunny might have even enjoyed the audiobook. He doesn’t say much but he wasn’t grumpy either.

Have never read a Jane Austen book, but I absolutely love the film that was made for “Sense & Sensibility”, with a brilliant screenplay by Emma Thompson, and terrific performances from her, Kate Winslet, Alan Rickman and Hugh Grant.
have you ever noticed that the youngest daughter is often delighted from the narrative in movies?
