At the time of her death, Christine Nelson was estranged from her four children and family. She had a drug addiction and became involved in prostitution.
Nelson was found on Dolle Avenue in Columbus on April 17, 1999. She had been beaten to death and left in the street. She was only 34 years old.
There have not been any suspects named. She was living a high-risk lifestyle. Her murder could have been related to drugs or prostitution. Unfortunately, Nelson met the wrong person and her life ended too soon.
I don’t know how no one saw anything but no one has said a word. Not one person saw the killer dump Nelson’s body in the street. Her clothes were found down the street from where she was found. How did no one see anything?
People are awake at all times of the day and night. The area that she was found is busy 24/7. Someone saw something.
I wonder if Nelson’s case could be connected to the case of Willatte Collins, who died in a similar way in 2002.
Hopefully, people will start coming forward with information. It really is time to give Nelson’s family the answers to this mystery.
