The video for “Save My Soul” from Laszlo Jones is this week’s Flawless Friday Video. Laszlo Jones has played music all over the world – from Lebanon to Las Vegas. Today, he has released a new album, Beyond the Door, and a new video, “Save My Soul.”
Jones has the following to say about “Save My Soul” : “Many live according to rules given to us by our religion, many have their whole lives dedicated to it, love for it, hate for it, kill for it, die for it… do we have a soul, can it be saved, is there any redemption? Is there a god or is it a lie ?”
I wonder if Laszlo has been watching Midnight Mass too. Many of us probably mistake vampires for angels – metaphorically speaking. They lead us down a path that looks like it’s just a fun road trip with the Red Hat Ladies. It will be lovely with brunch and scenic views.
Who wouldn’t want to go on a road trip with Laszlo? In this video, he is like the Pied Piper for adults searching for whatever people search for – the meaning of life, fortune or adventure. Why do we keep following the Pied Piper and Vampires ? It never ends well but people forget. We get caught up in the music and how fun the Vampire/Pied Piper’s adventures are- until they aren’t.
