Post-punk band Candy Coffins has a new video”, “Tangled Up in Teacups,” featured as the Flawless Friday Video this week.

Ballet dancers Mira Lathren and Bella Leone deserve so much credit for making the video incredibly lovely. I like the juxtaposition of the beauty of the dancing and the crumbling background. The upcoming album, Once Do it With Feeling, from Candy Coffins deals with the arc of a relationship that was beautiful at first and eventually falls apart.

“The full album chronicles a relationship from the onset of the first crack to its complete crumbling dissolution. All the feelings and emotions of tumult are captured here, from both persons’ perspectives,” says frontman-songwriter Jame Lathren.
