If you had to come up with one question, the answer to which would determine whether or not you could be friends with a person you’ve just met, what would it be? What would the right answer be?
Thanks to my friend, Kate @ http://didthatjusthappenblog.wordpress.com/, I have discovered the question that can determine whether I can truly be a friend with someone. We were talking about Halloween so I asked her “What are you going to be for Halloween?” I know, we’re not six year old anymore but I like to dress up for Halloween. I also like to know that my friends are open to the possibility of dressing up to go trick-or-treating with their kids or to a costume party. What they are going to wear is not the issue. For example, when I took the kids trick-or-treating last year, I just wore a masquerade ball mask. One year, my mom painted kitty whiskers on my face. It’s important that people who I would like to be friends with don’t dismiss the idea of dressing up for Halloween altogether.
By the way, Kate is going to be a pirate. Or possibly a flapper. 🙂 She has the right attitude.
