Interview with . . . The Atom Age

The Atom Age

I don’t know Little Richard personally but whenever I hear The Atom Age I think that he would like them or at least appreciate their energy. The Atom Age combines a bit of punk and R & B. If Little Richard was still touring, The Atom Age would be a perfect fit for the roster. It’s just my opinion but check out their new album, Cry ‘Til You Die,” and see what you think.

Ryan Perras of The Atom Age took some time out of his day to answer some super important questions.

Where was your first show as a fan? As a performer?

Seeing the Mighty Mighty Bosstones at Toads Place in New Haven CT

Who is the most underrated musician/band?

The Sonics

Why does success come so easily to performers that are not as talented as others?

They sell their souls to Dick Cheney.

Who would you like to collaborate with? Any musician, past or present.

Wayne Kramer from MC5

How do you guys balance personal life and band life?

It’s hard, but everyone in our personal life is a big music nerd so luckily they get it.

Skunk Ape for sure.

Has anyone ever died from crying?

Yes, Elvis Presley.

Who does the art for your album covers?

For this new album it was Robin Eisenberg with the album image and Jake Yergert doing the layout. Jake has done a couple album covers of ours in the past as well. Tessia Spisak drew the singles art.
