Sleep Deprived Music Review: Alice’s Night Circus

Halloween is coming soon and no one is probably more excited than Alice’s Night Circus. They have released an album, Metamorphose, that is perfect in it’s own spooky- theatrical-Steampunk way.

Alice is a classically trained singer who now sings her own songs instead of covers.
The Metamorphose album sounds like what an “Alice in Wonderland” soundtrack would should sound like. It reminds me of “The Greatest Showman” and Florence & The Machine. My favorite song on the album is “Penny Dreadful.”

Alice’s Night Circus is from Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. The band is primarily Alice. Alice has been singing for many years while also designing jewelry and fashion. Of course, their band merch is really cool.

I’d like to listen to this record while doing Steampunk things like making hats or gadgets. I’m not really mechanically inclined so I would just listen to this on the way to a Steampunk event in my soon-to-be awesome Steampunk hat.
