Today on the blog, we are welcoming LifeCycle of New Jersey. There is another band called Lifecycle; however, they are from London and play alternative/tribal music.
The LifeCycle that we are interviewing is definitely rock and roll. Let’s find out more about LifeCycle, shall we?

Where was your first concert as a fan? As a performer?
Going WAY back to my first concert as a fan…..electricity was just invented! My first as a fan was Van Halen in support of their first album. I was really young but my parents were into music and I was fortunate.
As a performer, the Jersey Shore. I was in a cover band just finding my way and trying to get better.
Do you have a bucketlist? If so, what’s on it?
I think to have a bucketlist , you have to be one of those people that refers to the bucklist. I never refer to it so I have to say no, I don’t have one. Having said that, there are things that the band is working very hard to accomplish. If LifeCycle had a bucket list, it would be touring Japan, then touring Japan again, and then finally touring Japan.
What was the last thing that you read?
Good Question! I am reading a Steven King book right now but the last thing I read before this book is called “The Four Agreements”. I highly recommend it if you are trying to be happy and not be an asshole to people you love.
What are you listening to at the moment?
JAZZ! I am down the “rabbit hole” with all things Jazz right now. From Chic Corea type fusion to more traditional Chet Baker and everything I can get my hands on. Apple Music has been a game changer. For hardly any money , you can have more music then you could ever imagine. Not only is it convenient and you can share all this music with friends, Apple Music has the most obscure albums ever recorded.
If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing?
We have a YouTube series called “A Day in the LifeCycle”. It’s a look at the band off stage and its very stupid at times. The band loves to do it and I end up editing the videos and releasing them every other week. If I wasn’t a musician, I would be making videos for other musicians. I love it and its art. Art is art.
Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?
I think LifeCycle would benefit from a collaboration with Rick Wakeman. Rick’s keyboards and piano work are insane and have been a part of progressive rock and he even played with Black Sabbath on some tracks. Some of songs would really be a good fit for that kind of partnership.
What do you want people to know about your music?
I want people to know about our music….period. It’s all about awareness. Our music is real and we actually play our instruments. The songs are put together well and we give a shit. We don’t write things we cant play live. People are smart and can judge for themselves. We just thank everyone for taking the time to listen to us or watch us live.
