So far combining hip-hop or R & B with country has not been quite as successful as it could be. Their roots started out in the same place but genres don’t always take the same trip.
I think Willie Jones might be onto something with the way that he mixes R & B with country. His music is definitely worth a listen. The video for American Dream is so expressive and emotional. (Insert fire emojis here. BTW -Where can I find fire emojis?)
