Gone Girl. So much rage. I might have even thrown the book down in disgust.

Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye.

I haven’t read a series that I dislike yet. I never started Lord of the Rings. Probably won’t ever start it.

Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby. Daisy is a terrible human being.

When Piggy is killed in Lord of the Flies.

Literary criticism. I took critical theory in college. Grateful that it’s over.

Spiral binding

Rape as drama.

I’m not noping out. It’s been on my Goodreads recommendation list for awhile. There aren’t any books that I’m noping out of based on too many recommendations.

Bad grammar.

Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights. The version with Tom Hardy is my favorite. I still hate Heathcliff. He’s so bitter because he still loves Catherine.

Lolita. ugh. so cringy and gross.

Humbert Humbert is a pedophile. Kudos to my college classmate for refusing to read the book.

Tess in Tess of the D’Urbervilles. It is the only time that a book has made me cry.

Vladimir Nabokov. I never read another book by Nabokov.
