Interview with . . . A Moments Notice

If you haven’t heard of Sacramento metalcore band A Moments Notice, it’s alright because they have only been a band for 6 months. So since you have heard of them now- at this very moment (pun intended) you should check out their music.

Vocalist Greg Molina has taken a moment out of his day to do this interview. Please welcome Molina and A Moments Notice to the blog.

Interview with . . . A Moments Notice

Who is answering the questions?

Greg Molina- Vocalist

Band/Artist Name:

A Moments Notice

Tell us about your latest project:

The group originally started off as a solo project with our first two singles being released. After our second single “Endless Waltz” was released, potential members of the band reached out and we became what we are today. Starting in Sacramento California, we developed a sound unlike anything we have done in previous bands/projects.

Where was your first concert as a fan? As a performer?

For the first concert, I went to the boardwalk to see Born of Osiris . The first show I played was at Harvest in Elk Grove.

What is the secret to writing good music?

Taking your time and being open to changes in order to better fit the sound you are going for. Music theory even with a little bit of knowledge goes a long way.

Do you have a bucket list? If so, what’s on it?

Europe tour, playing with Imminence, Lorna shore, Alpha Wolf, and Bodysnatcher

What was the last thing that you read?

I read a book on business and marketing in the music industry.

What are you listening to at the moment?

At the moment, I have been pretty heavily into softer music in order not to burn my ears out from listening to the genre that I play. I call this my zen moment.

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing?

I get this question a lot. I’d probably still be doing hair as I am a barber for my day job.

Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

Will Ramos for sure! I look up to him as a vocalist.

What do you want people to know about your music?

We spent 6 months on our record that was released in August. We have also only been a band for 6 months so this is all very new to us. We put together an amazing set of songs for the record. We hope that people are enjoying what we have to offer.

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
