Bucket list goal completed: Wicked the Musical

For many years, seeing Wicked on stage has been on the bucketlist. In January 2020, I thought maybe but you all know how that went. So finnnnaaallly, in May of this year, it was time to check this goal off of the bucketlist.

Since my youngest kid is also a fan of Wicked, I surprised her by taking her to see it in Columbus at The Ohio Theater.

It was awesome! We both enjoyed the show. Somehow I managed to get incredibly lucky with buying tickets and didn’t have to sit in the balcony. I’m scared of heights so it’s an issue. I’m ok with not defying gravity.

If you have the opportunity, try not to miss Wicked.

    I saw “Wicked” back in 2004 or 2005, and liked it, but wasn’t overwhelmed like virtually everyone else was/is. “The Wizard of Oz” has been my all-time favorite movie my entire life, and I guess anything that works off it like “The Wiz” or “Wicked” just pales in comparison for me.

    I’m glad you got to see it at the Ohio Theater! That’s an interesting venue. I went on a behind-the-scenes tour several years ago, and we used to see some of the summer movie series there every summer. The balcony is my favorite place, though, as it’s usually less crowded.
