I wanted to talk a little bit about this summer and how things have changed a little bit over the last couple years as far as entertainment here in New England USA. It’s funny because I’ve always said I really enjoy playing down south on tour because a lot of venues, you get to play outdoors and it’s a serious party. I love it. There’s nothing better than nice weather and being outside and playing music instead of inside when it’s beautiful outside. So fast forward and here we are, a lot of our shows are outdoors and we simply love it. It’s like a breath of fresh air literally. The other cool thing about it is that the shows usually start earlier and end earlier so you’re not trying to keep the crowd until 2 AM. Most people these days wanna go home earlier. It’s just a fact however they start partying earlier so it makes up for it. It’s nice to not have to get home by 4 AM. People seem to have a hell of a lot more fun outside so we really enjoy the summer much more so than before. So now New England really reminds me of being down south. I’m always intrigued by people just letting go of everything in their lives and take a few hours and really enjoy themselves. It’s a beautiful thing to watch from the stage, people dancing, drinking, eating and just stepping away from their everyday day problems even if it’s just for a few moments in time. Music has a way of taking you far away, The universal language that seems to speak to everybody. Even your most hardened individuals find the simple joy of listening to live music.

Bands must be creative in terms of wanting to have people listen to their own songs.  These days a lot of venues are looking for cover bands. I get it, it’s natural.  People want to hear what is familiar to them. Yes we play cover songs and enjoy doing so but we also funnel in our own music where we are releasing our 12th album.

Leaving Eden’s new album “ As Above So Below” released on August 5, 2022 Dark Star Records/Sony/Universal/worldwide distribution is just as heavy as the previous 11 Albums. There’s lots of melody, harmony and some cool licks and tricks throughout.

The song “Green” has already hit the top 200 billboard charts. Here’s a video link to

That’s a John Lennon song we covered on the New album. Here is a video link to our single off of the album titled “Green”: https://youtu.be/c6idLsUyO6o

It’s a little heavy and has some great harmony and melody. I feel like it’s got a good vibe and a great beat. Quick note; titled “Green” because of the lyric line “and the sky turned green in the distance of a dream“. I wasn’t sure why I was writing that when I did but then I noticed somewhere in the country the skies were green. So a little bit prophetic you could say.

You can buy or stream our new album anywhere these services are offered worldwide. Where our songs are pretty much based in reality and lyric driven, this new album gives you insight into how we view things in the world today. You can find all info at https://leavingeden.com/home

We also try and open the doors for other upcoming bands as much as we can. I really appreciate new bands and new music because it’s so unique that nobody else is playing it in the universe. So we try and do our part and lend a helping hand.

So, enjoy your summers, live life to the fullest and always stay grounded. Yesterdays gone, the future is never guaranteed so then all we have in this life is today. That’s what I do. I focus on the here and now.

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
