Bring the Hoax of Sweden has a pretty sweet video for their song, “Jonestown.” On the surface, the video seems lighthearted but the lyrics are inspired by the Jonestown massacre. The song has something to say about who to trust and what to question.
Bring the Hoax states,
“In an age where source criticism never has been needed as much as now – but has been
replaced by godliness to our prophets online – we wonder who we really should look up to,
the ones we trust, or the ones we follow.“
The “Jonestown” single is the second and final one from Bring The Hoax’s self-titled debut EP, which will be released on Lövely Records on the 28th of October, 2022.
