Music Journal: Inkcarceration Festival 2023, Day 1

inkcarceration festival

Hello everyone,

We have returned from the Inkcarceration Festival relatively unscathed except for a few mystery bruises and several lost ponytail holders. Let me tell you about what a great time we had even with allllll of the people.

One newspaper from Mansfield said that there were 25,000 people. I’m not sure if that was the 3 day total or for one day. Either way, I believe it. A person couldn’t go anywhere without seeing hundreds and hundreds of people.

Also, I would like to apologize to the lady that I accidentily cut in front of at the port-o-potties. The lines were a bit unorganized and crazy. Still, my bad and thank you for not kicking me in the face.

We went on all three days but Friday was the hottest day. There were so many great bands on all of the days. My favorites on Friday were Hatebreed, Suicide Silence and P.O.D. I heard a lot of people say how much they loved Coal Chamber. I saw them but I was in a daze from waiting on my chicken on a stick order. Would see them again though. Also, the chicken on a stick was amazing and messy.

I have a ton of photos to post plus some videos on TikTok. However, your girl is tired so the photos will have to wait.

Everything was amazing and messy.

“Just a small town girl – living in a lonely world.” Concert tickets are practically essential. Musicals are the key to life. I like movies, music, books, and corny jokes.
