Strawberry Runners has a playful video for their latest single, “Look Like This.” I have 20 million scarves but I have not had nearly as much fun with them as you see in the video. This could be a cue to enjoy the beauty of life. There’s something about the tone that is fun and sparkly but never corny.
“In the video, I was thinking about the way that depression and your ego can distort your view of the world and yourself. I thought of a few ways to distort figures in video form – shadows, reflections, filters, lenses, and spent a couple days filming my bandmates and myself,” says Emi Night of Strawberry Runners.
Their self-titled album will be released on August 25 via Duper Moon Records.
