Meagre Martin, an Berlin-based indie rock, have a sound that people will love – a combination of 90s indie plus their own unique voices and lyrics.
“We approached the album in a really old way of making music,” Corazzini explains, “it felt like soul-searching as a band, the three of us together.”
Band members Sarah Martin (guitar, she/her), Federico “Freddy” Corazzini (drums, he/him) and Max Hirtz-Wolf (bass, he/him) are all Americans who relocated to Berlin. They met in Berlin when an opportunity to perform at a show presented itself. The trio has been making music together since then.
Meagre Martin posted their latest video, “Please Clap,” today. They will be releasing their debut album, Gut Punch, on November 1, 2023. I will be counting down the days. If you cannot wait to hear their music, there is a list of tour dates for your consideration.
