I have a mountain of scrapbook paper. Lately, I’ve been waking up at 4 AM on my day off. What better time to scrapbook? 🙂
Do you still print out photos in albums or are most your photos digital?
At the moment, most of my photos are digital. I’m kind of a binge photo printer. When I have time to scrapbook, I print a lot of photos at once. In this instance, a lot of photos would be about 100-150 pictures.
I’m way behind on scrapbooking. I am considering doing some digital scrapbooking. Has anyone ever done digital scrapbooking?
If I could find a decent place to print off pictures, that would be excellent. I haven’t been to Wal-Mart since my little incident a few months ago – not even to get my oil changed.
Has anyone had a good or bad experience with printing pictures from an online company, like Snapfish or Shutterfly?
Finally, the scrapbook area is finished! It’s so much more organized. I told you that there was a desk under there. Look at that – it is a desk. A real desk!
This is what is looked like before.
Basically, a disaster. Everything in my house seemed so cluttered because of the scrapbook supplies. My boyfriend will be so happy that we can have actual meals on the dining room table instead of crop sessions.
The plan for redoing the scrapbook area was to add a couple shelves and reorganize all of the stuff on the desk. It really should have been done by Monday.
However, I ran into a snafu. I don’t know anything about drills or drill bits. My boyfriend bought the right drill bit for me. He’s very excited to see this area organized. (He said he was a “bit” excited. Get it? He’s so funny.)
I have made some progress. One shelf is partially up. Only partially because I still don’t know much about drills. A little while ago, I sent my boyfriend a text to ask how to get the drill bit out and put the screwdriver part on. He sent a message back so I will be studying that message for awhile. I may have to meditate for awhile before and after dealing with the drill.
Tomorrow is another day. I plan to conquer the drill tomorrow. Let’s see if I can finish the area by the end of the week.
P.S. I’m not left-handed. This could be part of the problem.
How did my scrapbook desk and the surrounding area get so messy and disorganized? There is just too much stuff going on at this little desk. It has definitely kept me from doing any scrapbooking. This may call for a quick DIY project.
I still have some shelves leftover from the doing the scrapbook closet. The scrapbook closet is great for storing things. However, I need an area to actually do the scrapbook pages.
There is a desk under here somewhere. Come back Monday to see what I’ve done with this space. 🙂
This scrapbook page was inspired by this layout that I found on Pinterest. Where else can you find such cool layouts?
I used Washi tape to outline the pictures in order to make it look more like a cake. Washi tape is an inexpensive way to spruce up your scrapbook pages. So far I have had a good experience with using the tape.
Craft bloggers: come up with a project that uses crunchy autumnal leaves.
This is a scrapbook page that I did today for Fall 2013. I might add something else. I’m not sure if it will be too much if I add more. Maybe some journaling or something small would be acceptable.
This is one of my favorite fall pictures of Little Sister #2. I did not have to tell her twice to jump in the leaves.
Another holiday scrapbook page. Holiday scrapbook pages seem to never end. So I stock up on holiday paper, stickers and page titles.
I do like the title of this page. It seems fitting for Little Sister #2. As you can see from the picture, she and Santa have a tense relationship. I think it’s because she is on the naughty list so much.
